Access to some of these lots is not for the faint of heart. There are 9 lots available at the top of the mountain, accessed by "4-WHEEL DRIVE".  The road is very steep, but accessible during decent weather.  There are several cabins on the top of the mountain in this general region. The lots are really beautiful, wooded, rocky, fairly level. Many offer great views. Hunting is fantastic. Deer, turkey, squirrel, and bear. There are also a couple of lots being offered on the opposite mountain ridge that offer great access, also wooded and offering views.  These lots are close or slightly higher than $6,000 per acre.  All are available with owner financing.  Terms are negotiable.  Please inquire about location and terms. There are various MLS#s, so please contact the office so we can discuss and point you in the right direction.  Annual dues for these lots are in the $400 range.  This fee does maintain the road system, the swimming lake with beach, playground, picnic pavilion and tennis court. ATVs are allowed on the roads and you can hunt or set up a firing range on your own property. Directions to Ritter's Hidden Valley:  You can get here from the Beltway in under 2 hours!!!  From Capon Bridge, drive Rt.50W towards Romney.  Drive just 2 miles, make a left onto Dillons Run Road.  Drive 3.25 miles and make a left into Ritter's Hidden Valley (stockade fencing, stone columns-across from long row of mailboxes). Enter Ritter's on Loudan Dr. Stay right at the first fork to continue on Loudan. At the bottom of the hill, turn left onto Old Mill Rd.  Stay on Old Mill for approximately 2 miles. At the beginning of the fishing lake (not the swimming lake), there is a lane off to the left.  The streetsign identifies this as DeHaven Drive. (Locally we know it as 4-wheel drive. You might want to have an agent drive you to the top. Please don't try it during inclement weather).  If you continue on, and cross the covered bridge after the swimming lake, you will go to the top of the other mountain to see two other lots being offered. These are much easier to access. No 4-wheel drive needed. (Covered bridge is Burger, stay on Burger until you see Hoover-Young on your left.  Go past the power lines to see 3 other lots.
