Off the exit ramp, take Rt.55W (west) towards Wardensville, WV.  You will drive approximately 12 miles.  Watch for Capon Springs Turnpike on your right.  If you get to the WV state line, you went too far.  Take Capon Springs Tpke 4 miles. You are going through the National Forest, and land owned by the Capon Springs Resort. This road will also take you right through the resort. This becomes Capon Springs Rd.  About 1 mile past the resort. make a right onto Back Creek Rd.  Drive 1 mile, watch for Milk Road on your left. Take Mile Rd. approximately 2.5 miles. You are going to make a left onto a gravel lane which would be Mossy Oaks Dr. The sign is currently down, but this lane is almost directly across from Mt. Airy Rd. (which will be on your right).  Take Mossy Oaks Dr. uphill, and bear right through the gate. This is the beginning of Mossy Oaks.  This is the scenic route. Otherwise, you will most likely find yourself on Rt.259 coming from Gore, Virginia (off Rt.50W coming out of Winchester, VA). Take Rt.259 approximately 12 miles. Watch for Milk Rd. on your left. If you get to the Yellow Spring Post Office, you just went too far.  Take Milk Rd. approx. 1 mile. Turn right across from Mt. Airy Rd.  The sign is down, but a wide gravel path, and a sign suggesting landowners only, marks the entranceway.
